The Group is committed to the prevention of fire, pollution, injury and ill health and the control of accident hazards & property damage. No development may be undertaken without prior assessment of risks to safety, health, the environment and business over the entire life of the project. The Group ensures that customers are informed of the nature of all products and their safe and appropriate use.

The Group will ensure that the selection of its industrial and business partners takes into account their ability to comply with standards on safety, health, environment and quality.

The Group is committed to complying with the legislation & other requirements appropriate to its activities to minimise the risks to the environment, health and safety at work for all employees, contractors’ staff, customers, local communities and the general public.

In addition to the Group’s risk prevention measures, emergency facilities and procedures will be implemented in order to respond effectively in the event of accidents, business interruption and other unforeseen events. These facilities and procedures will be periodically reviewed.

The Group is committed to the setting of objectives to facilitate the continual improvement of these management systems.

All personnel are expected to work in a spirit of openness and co-operation, with everyone conscious of his or her personal responsibilities, giving due consideration to the prevention of risks of accident, harm to health or environmental damage associated with his or her activities. Employees and contractors are expected and encouraged to bring to the notice of management any safety concerns, near misses or incidents which they become aware of.

Proper attention to safety, health, environmental protection and the quality of products and services will be an important criterion in evaluating the performance of each member of personnel, in particular for those in positions of responsibility.

In matters of health, safety, environment and quality, the Group co-operates fully with local and international regulatory authorities.
